General Information
The Village of Ban A Bae is located in the village group Nr. 7 in the Community of Mae Salong Nok in the District of Mae Fa Luang in the Province of Chiang Rai. It is an Akha village, and geographi
cally located on a high hill at the altitude of 800 meters above sea level. It is surrounded by forested areas in the valley of Mae Ron River. The village was set up in 1954. There are now 50 households with 52 families and 361 members in the village. Most of them make their living with agriculture and working for a day loan. Most of them are Buddhists.
The village borders Ban Pa Kha Samakkhi in the north, Ban Pang Sa in the south, Ban A Lae in the east and Ban Lao Fu in the west. The distance from the village to the City of Chiang Rai is 55 kilometers.
